In 1977, Elihu Katz and George Wedell have edited together Broadcasting in the Third World, a milestone book on the role of radio and television in the developping countries.
More than thirty years latter, they meet again in Manchester for a conversation on television. Eliku Katz analyses the implementation of television in Israël, while George Wedell expresses disappointed views on the impact of commercial television.
The conversation was organised by the Chantry Group, in Manchester, 30 May 2008.
35 minutes.
Filmed and edited by André Lange.
